Hi all

Hope I am allowed to be the proud mum!! My daughter (the one with the RA - not yet controlled properly) got her degree results today! She's the first one in the whole wider family to get a first class - so she is well pleased!!!

Off to King's College, London next - so that'll mean 2 daughters in London!!

Haven't felt too good over the weekend, so this news has been a real uplift.

A very Happy Anne xxBigGrin

Hi Anne.

That's fantastic! Please pass on congratulations. If you can't be proud of that I don't know what you can be proud of. My sons' graduations were the proudest days of my life. You will enjoy every second and you will be well on that day and so will your daughter. I demand it!

Many congratulations to your daughter, and you mum, are quite right to be basking in her achievement. With all the misery this disease brings with it this type of news is wonderful medicine.

Thanks everyone - it's nice to share something good! BigGrin We now have a philosopher in the family!

Feeling a bit better today, having dosed myself up on morphine and sleeping tablets last night (as well as the usual) - in the hope of getting some sleep as I was so overtired.... it seems to have worked! My GP suggested doing this every now and then - good advice.

Need to be awake next week for her graduation on Friday - which is in Oxford, so a bit of a drive for us!! Hubby has had to have a day's leave unpaid!

Hope the Graduation goes well Anne.
My daughter's Graduation day was fantastic, a day to remember forever.
Wiped me out for a week, but never mind, I made it on the day and that's all that matters!

Love, Doreen xx
